Facing additional deficits next year after two years of deep budget cuts, Eugene School District 4J is seeking community input on how to balance its budget.
District staff will present information about the district’s financial picture, and request input on budget-balancing strategies and priorities.
Due to declining enrollment, state and local revenues falling short, and the use of reserve funds to ease cuts in previous years, 4J still faces a $5.8 million deficit for the coming school year.
